1Open Dropbox. Its icon looks like a blue carton. It’s in the Windows/Start menu on a PC, and the Applications folder on a Mac.

3Click Rename. The folder’s name should appear highlighted.

4Type a new name for the folder. This will overwrite the highlighted text.

5Press ↵ Enter or ⏎ Return. The folder is now renamed.

Using Dropbox.com

1Open http://www.dropbox.com/login in a web browser. You can use any browser, such as Safari or Chrome, to open your Dropbox.

2Type your login information and click Sign in.

3Click My Files. It’s on the left side of the screen.

4Hover the mouse over the folder you want to rename. A check box will appear next to the folder’s name.

5Click the check box. This adds a check mark to the box, which means the folder is selected.

6Click Rename. It’s in the column on the right side of the screen.
