Be sure to mention your relevant skills, experience, and education as it applies to the particular position in both your cover letter and resume.
    • For example, the Executive Coordinator position requires a candidate to have graduated from a Tier 1 University. Be sure to mention what school you graduated from and mention your academic record.

To send your application in for a job category that doesn’t have any openings, draft your cover letter and resume so it highlights all of your relevant skills and experience. • If you have an in-person interview, show up about 15 minutes early.
    • For phone interviews, make sure you are in a quiet, distraction-free area at the time of your call.
    • At the end of the interview, you can ask when you should expect to hear back from them.
  5. 5
Call or email to check your application status after 1 or 2 weeks. If you haven’t been in contact with the Smile Foundation, either to set up an interview or after your interview is conducted, you can touch base with them to check on your status.
    • Call the Smile Foundation if you’ve been in touch over the phone, or draft an email to jobs@smilefoundationindia.org.
