Spotify offers a large and growing collection of music online. To access the app’s full range of features, you have to sign up for a paid Premium account. If you are an active college student at an accredited university, you may be eligible to receive a 50% discount on your membership. Not a bad way to make those study sessions and all-nighters a little less painful.
Steps
Upgrading From a Free Spotify Account

1Make sure you qualify for the student discount. If you're actively enrolled at an accredited college or university in the US or UK, you may qualify for a 50% discount for Spotify Premium. Spotify uses SheerID to verify your student status.[1]

Note: The student discount is available for 4 years of study. You’ll have to re-verify your eligibility every 12 months.

2Go to Spotify.com in a web browser. If you’re not already signed in to your Spotify account, click Log In at the top-right corner to sign in now.
