Don't you hate when your stuffed animal is smelly, but you are going somewhere special with it, and you don't have time to put it in the washer and then your dryer? Read this article to find out how to make some nice smell-good perfume or cologne for your stuffed animal.
Steps
-
1Place small or large bowl(s) onto a surface that you don't mind getting wet. Don't worry! If you do spill a bit of water, it's okay! You or your parents can dry it up using a towel or washcloth.
-
2Fill the bowls up with clean water carefully to avoid a wet mess.Advertisement
-
3Find four or more of any kind of flowers to make your scent with. Make sure that they don't have any dry brown spots, and that they don't have any bugs or bug eggs on them.
-
4Put the flowers into the bowl(s) and gently stir them around using a spoon. Be careful not to damage the flowers, as you do not want any tiny pieces of flowers stuck inside of your perfume bottle - they can clog the nozzle.
-
5Look into the water to see if the flower water may be turning a color that is the color of the flowers inside of it. That's very good, as that means that the smell of the flowers is mixing with the water to enhance the smell of your new stuffed animal perfume.
-
6Choose your strength. Add and stir more flowers into the water for a stronger scent, and don't leave the flowers in for very long for a weaker scent.
-
7Add some scent with real perfume or cologne. Spray a small amount of it into the flower water to make it smell better for a male or female stuffed animal.
-
8Take the flower petals out of the water to prepare for pouring the water. Make sure that it's the scent you want it to be.
-
9Grab a small, empty, and clean spray bottle and gently pour the scented flower water into it. Be sure there are no flower or leaf bits left.
-
10Shake the perfume or cologne bottle to further stir up the scented flower water. Let sit for a few minutes.
-
11Apply the scented flower water/perfume onto your stuffed animal to make it smell better. Remember, a little bit goes a long way!
-
12Smell your stuffed animal to make sure it smells good.
