This wikiHow guide will show you how to evolve Roselia into Roserade. Roserade is an excellent Poison and Grass Pokémon, and the final evolution of Budew. You’ll need a Shiny Stone to evolve Roselia into Roserade. If you know where to look, the stone will be easy to find. Note that Roserade is only available in Generations IV and later. For example, you can obtain Roserade in Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum (or Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl).
Things You Should Know
- Get a Roselia either by evolving Budew or capturing a wild Roselia.
- Evolve Roselia into Roserade by giving Roselia a Shiny Stone.
- Shiny Stone locations vary depending on the version of Pokémon you’re playing.
Steps
Evolving Roselia
-
1Open your bag. This is where your Shiny Stone is stored.[4]
-
2Locate your Shiny Stone. It’s a green and yellow stone.
-
3Click Use this item. This will prompt you to select a Pokémon on your team.
- Note that once you evolve Roselia, Roserade won't be able to learn new moves by leveling up. If Roselia still has a few moves you want them to learn naturally, wait to use the Shiny Stone.
-
4Select Roselia. This will evolve Roselia into Roserade. You’ve successfully evolved Roselia! Roserade is a Grass and Poison Pokémon. Next, learn about type weaknesses in our expert guide.
- Now that you've evolved Roselia, you might be considering evolving other Pokémon. Most first-form Pokémon (like Pichu in Pokémon Sun and Moon) just require a high friendship level to evolve. Evolving from the second form to the third form either requires an evolution stone, special item, or reaching a certain level.
