Love wrestling? Want to be like the wrestlers that you see on the TV? Want to create your wrestling promotion like the Hardy Boyz did when they were young? and if you need help create and run your own wrestling promotion If so then read this article.

Meet with your friends and name the promotion. For example, UTW (United Trampoline Wrestling)

Practice your promos and upload them to youtube so other people can critique you

Decide where you can wrestle. (Ex: backyard, barn, or wrestling ring) You can (for the beginning) wrestle on a trampoline or something and record them. Put them on a DVD and sell them for a price(not too high, but high enough for you to make a steady profit)ex 5$. Also, sell tickets to those interested to watch your matches and charge a sum of about 2$-5$. A commercial wrestling ring costs $2000-$5000.

Watch DVDs and read on big pro wrestling companies such as WWE, Impact, or AEW to learn moves,storylines etc. Start with the basics, though.

Also watch videos (on You-tube) about other backyard or wrestling promotions to learn tricks. Practice what you are going to do in a match so nobody gets hurt.

About the matches:

If scripted then make sure that you include at least three wrestling finishing moves. It makes it more interesting. Also (how often depending on your wrestling federation. If there is hardcore promotion then do this more often) sometimes include weapons.

Practice superkicks and strikes.

Make an entrance, give each wrestler a costume, cool name, & bio, and use music. Make it professional!

Record it and post it on the Internet (You-tube, Meta-cafe, etc.).

Promote it the best you can. Who knows? Maybe one day your promotion might be as big as WWE!

You would want to change the audio enough for it to not be completely copied. You can get in major trouble if you just use someone else's music without permission.

Warnings

Pro wrestling is dangerous. DO NOT attempt highly dangerous moves. DO NOT street fight, but if you can, join a wrestling club where you will be taught by professionals. Start with the basic moves.
