Lucky Star (らき☆すた) is a manga by Kagami Yoshimizu, later adapted for video games, light novels and anime. The story is centered upon four Japanese girls attending a Japanese high school.

The main character is Konata Izumi, a lazy girl and an otaku. Each episode usually consists of a number of sketches portraying different aspects of the girls' lives, most of the time in a comedic manner. Each episode also has a lot of references to other anime and manga series.
