- If your computer doesn't have a built-in disc drive, you can connect an external disc drive to your computer via USB. External disc drives are available for both Mac and PC.

3Open your computer’s media player. Once you've inserted the DVD, a built-in DVD player should open automatically. If it doesn't, navigate to your file explorer and search for your computer's media player (popular media players are VLC Media Player and Windows Media Player).
