Roses on Hinge are a great way to let someone know that you are especially interested in them. When you offer someone a Rose, you immediately shoot to the top of their "Likes You" deck. But are Roses actually effective in helping you find romance on the app that was designed to be deleted? Are do they instead come across as weird and overbearing? This wikiHow article helps you decide whether or not you should send Roses on Hinge, and helps you send them as effectively as possible!
Things You Should Know
- Roses send your profile to the top of another user's "Likes You" deck.
- Hinge offers users one free weekly Rose, but additional Roses will cost you money. The weekly Roses do not accumulate.
- Prioritize developing your profile and a few clever opening lines before relying on Roses.
Steps
How to Send a Rose in Discover
-
1Find a profile you like in Discover. If a Hinge user who's especially intriguing pops up in Discover, send them a Rose to rise to the top of their Likes You screen.
-
2Type a comment (optional). Whether you're sending a Rose from a person's photo or prompt answer, adding a comment to send with your Rose will make the action more personal.
-
3Tap the Rose. Instead of choosing "Send Like," choose the Rose icon. The Rose is now sent!
