Drawing a dollar bill is easy. You won't be able to pass this off as a real bill, but it's a fun illustration to create!
Steps
-
1To form the outline of the bill, draw three rectangles. Each one should be smaller than the previous one.
-
2Draw four ovals. One should be in the middle, and the others should be in three of the corners. Draw an anvil shape in the remaining corner.Advertisement
-
3Add two circles right next to the center oval. These are the seals. Remember to put the value of the bill in the corners as well!
-
4Draw a rectangle right below the center oval. Draw good ol' George in the center, getting his facial features as close as you possibly can to the real thing.
-
5To make your bill look more real, draw some vines made of eye shaped leaves covering the top corners. (This step isn't 100% necessary, but go ahead and vine it up if you are so inclined.)
-
6Finally, add the wording of the bill. Write "Federal Reserve Note" on top, "THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" right below it and finally "ONE DOLLAR" below President Washington's image. You can add extra words if you like; look at a real dollar bill for inspiration.
-
7Use a very pale shade of green and a dark shade of grey to finish your dollar bill. You're done!
