Yūki Yūna is an up and coming seinen anime series. Yūna Yūki and her friends belongs to the school's Hero Club, which helps anyone who requests for assistance. One day, they are transported to an unknown world where they are required to the defend Shinju, the Divine Tree, against monsters known as the Vertex.

The main work is Yūki Yūna wa Yūsha de Aru (結城友奈は勇者である) is an anime television series, created by Studio Gokumi and director Seiji Kishi as part of the Takahiro IV Project. The story is about Yūki Yūna and her friends living ordinary lives and wanting to become real heroes. When they are transported into another world, they soon realize that being a hero is not what it seems, as they have to fight the monsters known as Vertex to save the Divine Tree Shinju.

The series currently includes the main anime tv series and the prequel light novel named Washio Sumi wa Yūsha de Aru. There's also a manga adaptation.
