Trinity Seven is a fantasy romantic comedy manga series by Kenji Saitō and drawn by Akinari Nao.
Trinity Seven: 7-nin no Masho Tsukai (トリニティセブン 7人の魔書使い Toriniti Sebun: Shichi-nin no Masho Tsukai) is a fantasy romantic comedy manga series by Kenji Saitō and drawn by Akinari Nao.
The Story follows Kasuga Arata, who lived a normal life together with his childhood friend, Hijiri Kasuga, until the day of the Black Sun where a magician appeared before him. The Black Sun caused the Breakdown Phenomenon which destroyed the town and because of this, his life was artificially reconstructed by a grimoire that Hijiri Kasuga had left. These events led him to a new life in the Royal Biblia Academy and meeting the members of the Trinity Seven.
The Manga was serialized in Fujimi Shobo's shōnen manga magazine Monthly Dragon Age in 2010 with it being compiled into 10 tankōbon volumes with the first volumes released in July 2011. Yen Press announced in October 2014 that they would be translating the tankōbon with the first volumes set to be released in May 2015.
November 2014, a spinoff light novel adaptation of Trinity Seven was announced written by Kenji Saito and illustrated by Akinari Nao covering the past of the main cast and will depect events not yet shown in the Manga. The first novel was released in November 2014, titled Trinity Seven The Novel: Night Episode and Lost Memory (トリニティセブン 7人の魔書使い The Novel 深夜挿話(ナイトエピソード)と過去記憶(ロストメモリー)Naito Episōdo to Rosuto Memorī)
An anime adaptation produced by Seven Arcs started airing in October 2014. directed by Hiroshi Nishikiori with Hiroyuki Yoshino is in charge of series composition.
