Terra Formars is a seinen manga/anime series written by Yū Sasuga. The story deals with a group of elite warriors sent on a mission to Mars, to eradicate the result of a terraforming process gone wrong.

In the year 2577, a ship consisting of six humans were sent to Mars, to check on the terraforming process of Mars, which was initiated 500 years earlier. To their horror, they find out that the entire planet is infested with giant mutated humanoid cockroaches with incredible physical strength, later labeled "Terraformars". The humans make others on Earth aware of their discovery, but they're killed before they can escape.

A team of elite warriors are chosen to exterminate the mutated bugs and claim back Mars.

For insect bases, syringes are used as the medicine while other transformations require different medicine. What about the other types of transformations? How did they consume the medicine?

How do Terraformars reproduce?

I've only watched the anime and there doesn't seem to be any mention of how they reproduce. I didn't see any sign of female subjects either, unless they look very similar to male ones.
