Nisekoi: False Love is a manga by Naoshi Komi with an anime produced by Shaft. The story follows the son of a Yakuza leader, Raku Ichijou,and the daughter of a rival gang's boss, Chitoge Kirisaki, who have to pretend to be lovers in order to prevent a turf war.
Nisekoi, released in English as Nisekoi: False Love, is a rom-com manga series written and illustrated by Naoshi Komi. First published as a one-shot manga in Jump Next! magazine, it is currently being serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump as a full fledged series. The plot of Nisekoi follows Raku Ichijou, who has a fake relationship with Chitoge Kirisaki, which they have to maintain to prevent a war between their family's rival gangs. As the story continues, we are also introduced to the other heroines of the story - Kosaki Onodera, Raku's own crush, Marika Tachibana, Raku's overzealous admirer and fiancee, and Seishiro Tsugumi, Chitoge's bodyguard and childhood friend.

- The Nisekoi manga series as it is today is written and illustrated by the same author as the one-shot. It began serialisation in November 7, 2011, and is still ongoing today, currently with 18 volumes published. It is released in the magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump.

- An anime adaption of Nisekoi has been produced by the studio Shaft. The first season ran from January 11 2014 until May 24 2014, and comprised 20 episodes, with an additional 3 OVA episodes. The second series began on April 10, 2015, and ran until June 26, 2015, containing 12 episodes and one OVA.
- A Nisekoi videogame was released by Konami on November 27, 2014 for the PlayStation Vita. The game was titled Nisekoi: Yomeiri!?.
- Additionally, Chitoge Kirisaki appears as a support character in the videogame J-Stars Victory VS.
