It was originally a one-shot story in 2004 before it was serialized in Kodansha's Afternoon magazine in 2006. It has been licensed into English by Vertical. A 12-episode anime adaptation by Hoods Entertainment began airing on April 7, 2012 and ended on June 30, 2012, followed by a release of an OVA on August 23, 2012.
The story is about Akira Tsubaki and Mikoto Urabe's relationship founded on Akira's addiction to Mikoto's drool after tasting it. After getting to know her better, their drool-based relationship slowly progresses and strengthens into something more sweet, romantic and genuine, accompanied with a series of strange and mysterious events along the way.
