Mushishi is a manga series by Yuki Urushibara. The story is centered on creatures called "Mushi", which are described to be beings that are close to the essence of life, far more basic than any other living things. Due to their nature, only a few people are capable of seeing them. One of them - a "Mushi Master" named Ginko - is the main character of the series.
