"Hyouge Mono" is a manga series by Yoshihiro Yamada about tea.
Hyouge Mono is a manga series written by Yoshihiro Yamada that takes place in the Sengoku period of Japan, and is about tea-related items and other treasures. The manga's first release was in 2005. In April 2011, it was adapted into a 39 episode anime TV series directed by Koichi Mashimo.
The main protagonist of the series is Furuta Sasuke, a vassal of Oda Nobunaga, who holds a deep appreciation for teapots, kettles, glazed cups, bowls, and jars. The series follows him as he encounters many of these treasures through a war-torn Japan.
