Highschool of the Dead is a zombie apocalypse manga written by Daisuke Satou that started publication in September 2006. In July 2010, an anime TV series was adapted from the manga that was directed by Tetsurou Araki and produced by Madhouse. Later in 2011, an OVA side-story was bundled with the 7th volume of the manga.

The story is set in modern day Japan. It follows a group of high-school students, the school nurse, and a young girl as they try to survive an epidemic that turns everyone into zombies.

I was really happy when I heard that HoTD would be continued. And even happier when the first new chapter actually came. but now after several months of waiting there still has been no other chapter. So my question is, has HoTD gone on hiatus again…
