The story focuses on Ban Mido and Ginji Amana, two members of the GetBackers. The manga started publication in 1999 and spanned 39 volumes.
A TV anime adaptation was made that aired in October 2002 and spanned 49 episodes. It was directed by Kazuhiro Furuhashi and Keitaro Motonaga and produced by Studio DEEN.
