Fractale is an anime TV series directed by Yutaka Yamamoto. In the leadup to the TV series, a manga was written by Hiroki Azuma, Mari Okada, and Yutaka Yamamoto. A serial novel was written by Hiroki Azuma shortly thereafter. The story follows Clain Necran and Phryne in a futuristic world ruled by the "Fractale System" that ensures mankind's stability and prosperity.
