Emma (エマ Ema) is a historical romance manga and anime series by Kaoru Mori.

The story follows Emma, a Maid in Victorian London set the end of the 19th century (1895) working for the former governess Kelly Stowner. after a meeting with William Jones, eldest son of the "House of Jones" William begins to develop feelings for Emma, despite his family disapproval of him associating with people of the lower classes (the "House of Jones" is in the Middle Class).

Mori has drawn the manga in crosshatched pen and ink style to obtain meticulous depth and accuracy in the characters and settings. from Volume 3 of the manga and onwards Mori hired Rico Murakami as a historical consultant to ensure historical accuracy in the manga. Murakami would also later become the historical consultant for the Anime Adaptation.

The manga was published by Enterbrain in the magazine Comic Beam in January 2002 with the first tankōbon released in August of that year. An Anime Adaptation titled Emma - A Victorian Romance (英國戀物語エマ Eikoku Koi Monogatari Emma) produced by Studio Pierrot and TBS aired between April and June of 2005 in Japan and later licensed by Nozomi Entertainment for English in June 2008.

The season to the anime titled Emma - A Victorian Romance: Second Act (英國戀物語エマ 第二幕 Eikoku Koi Monogatari Emma Dai Ni Maku) aired in Japan between April and July, 2007 with Nozomi Entertainment picking up the English licences.
