"Domo-kun" is the official mascot of the NHK.
Domo-kun is the official mascot of the NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation), first appearing in December 1998 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the NHK's satellite broadcasting. He was created by Tsuneo Gōda.
