Brave 10 is a manga series by Kairi Shimotsuki.
Brave 10 (ブレイブ・テン Bureibu Ten) is a manga series by Kairi Shimotsuki, first serialized in 2007 in Media Factory's Comic Flapper.
The story takes place during the Sengoku Period of Japan (Warring States period) a year before the Battle of Sekigahara. Kirigakure Saizou comes across the Miko Isanami, who survived the burning of Izumo Temple by Tokugawa forces and is now being attacked by assassins as she tried to reach Shinshuu to seek sanctuary with it's lord Sanada Yukimura.
After saving her and escorting Isanami to Shinshuu, Sanada expresses his desire to make Saizou one of his Braves. a group of 10 warriors, one for each finger on his hand, whose combined strength will alter the course of history.
There are 2 Manga serializations, Brave 10 which serialized in Comic Flapper from 2007 to 2010. it was later resumed in 2011 under the title Brave 10 Spiral (ブレイブ・テン・スパイラル Bureibu Ten Supairaru) otherwise known as Brave 10 S, which was serialized in Monthly Comic Gene.
In January 2012 an Anime Adaptation by Studio Sakimakura and TMS Entertainment began to air in Japan. Nipon Ichi Software America (NISA) licensed and released the series for North American release in October 2013
