Basquash! is an anime created by Thomas Romain and Shoji Kawamori. The story is set in an alternate future where humanity is split between two factions: the lunar society, Mooneyes, and the denizens of the alternate Earth's surface, Earthdash. The show is titled for a "street" version of a popular sport called BFB (Big Foot Basketball), in which players play basketball while riding car-like giant robots called Big Foots.
