Why could Nagato keep Madara's transplanted Rinnegans after his death but yet Kakashi couldn't keep Obito's transplanted Sharingans after his death?

Both Obito & Madara's eyes are handed off to none of Uchiha, however, Nagato keeps the Rinnegan abilities.

Why can't Kakashi keep the Sharingan abilities? The belief is that visible Kekkei Genkai is easier to transplant, isn't it?
